The Hall of Fame posthumously recognizes the following Ashland citizens who have made significant contributions in one of the following categories:

History

Politics

Arts & Entertainment

Medicine Science & Technology

Public Service

Religion & Philosophy

Education

Sports

Business & Commerce

The Hall of Fame Committee also recommends that people whose spirit, character, and personality have added color and flavor to our town, be recognized in a separate category titled “Gone but Not Forgotten.”

Nominations to the Committee should include important details and supporting documents for review. While the exact number of initial inductees will be determined based on the number of applications, we anticipate 10-15 persons to be inducted in October.

The Hall of Fame Committee will convene again in ten years to conduct another search for additional Hall of Fame’rs.
